I began visiting The Exploratorium right after it opened. The funky location with its interesting of history and imaginative science exhibits made it a place of joy and wonder throughout my childhood. It was the place I wanted to go to whenever I was anywhere near San Francisco. As I grew up and moved nearby, playing and learning here lost none of their interest for me. As The Exploratorium moved away to the new location, I made these photos to celebrate the place that holds so many memories of discovery.
