It is known that trees give and receive energy in the form of the carbon dioxide and oxygen they exchange with the air around them. They also respond in ways as yet not fully understood to the stars and other celestial changes. Their closest connection is with the sun that brings the food their leaves need to grow and remain alive. How would things look if we observed the trees and thought of all of these exchanges as ongoing conversations?
This series is created by walking paths in many different places and looking up. What sort of messages of the season are written there, where the earth meets the sky at the top of a tree? What kind of poetry is composed by leaves, wind, sky and sunlight?
