Pray For Rain is a documentary currently under production. It explores the story of Lowell Merriam, who has been farming almonds in the San Joaquin Valley for most of his life. His story is deeply involved with water usage, climate change and politics in Central California.
Exploring his experiences and practices reveals a complex story of a close-knit community that is already living with wells drying up and threats to the bees that make their livelihood possible and the need to find alternative energy sources.
